Plain 2000 was born and bred in 034, Kwa-Zulu Natal, co-raised in two close hometowns (Dundee and Glencoe).
He was raised by his grandparents due to absent biological parents. Plain 2000's grandparents are religious zulu tribe individuals whom follow the nazareth baptist church religion. his sound is influenced by his ways on the streets and his personal religious views, Plain 2000 was raised in a middle standard functioning household with siblings.
Plain 2000's music journey began the first time he heard The Notorious b.i.g's hit song titled "big poppa" in 2007 when he was only three years of age which played a huge role in his musical growth, he later got exposed to more hip hop music, then later started writing his own whilst developng his hip hop passion. Plain 2000 further intends to nurture his rhyming ability and further grow the hip hop culture.
He goes by the name Plain 2000 to represent his unique rap image, the word "Plain" resembles his accurate relatable rap quotes and the number "2000" represents his generation considered the leaders of tommorrow (generation z).
