Comment: We have strict rules regarding referencing articles on living people (WP:BLP). Every material statement, anything potentially contentious, and all private personal and family details must be clearly supported by inline citations to reliable published sources, or else removed. As a bare minimum, every paragraph must have at least one citation, and also end in one.Supporting information by referencing close primary sources is only acceptable in what comes to purely factual, non-contentious statements. Professor Peter Hawkins (born October 7, 1950) is a leading author, consultant and researcher in Leadership, Strategy, Culture change and Organisational learning.[1] He is the author of many best-selling books and papers in the fields of leadership, board and team coaching, systemic coaching, supervision, and organizational transformation.[2]
Career
editHawkins was joint founder of the Centre for Supervision Training and Development in 1979, which has developed supervision training across all helping professions globally. He is still a director of the company.[3][4]
He founded Bath Centre for Psycoptherapy and Councelling (BCPC) in 1984[5]
He was joint founder, in 1986, of Bath Consultancy Group and its chairman until the company was sold in 2010 and has chaired three other company boards as well as being a trustee director of several charities.[6]
In 2010 he founded Renewal Associates which provides organisational consultancy and leadership and team coach training around the world. He is still the chairman of the company.[7]
He was Professor of Leadership at Henley Business School, University of Reading, and since 2020 is an Emiritus professor there.[8] He is a visiting Professor at the University of Bath and Oxford Brookes and has also taught at a wide variety of universities both in the UK and South Africa.[9]
As an author Hawkins has written extensively about leadership, leadership teams, coaching and supervision.[10]

editIn 2019 he was shortlisted in Thinkers50 / Marshall Goldsmith's Top 100 Coaches of the World Award.[11] In 2023 he was shortlisted for the Marshall Goldsmith Coaching and Mentoring Award.[12]
Personal Life
editHawkins lives on the edge of Bath, UK with 37 acres which he shares, with many animals and trees as well as his children and grandchildren and leaders who come on courses and retreats.[13]
