Comment: See WP:NOTNEWS. Specifically: Wikipedia considers the enduring notability of persons and events. While news coverage can be useful source material for encyclopedic topics, most newsworthy events do not qualify for inclusion and Wikipedia is not written in news style.
I would like to see more sources covering this event over a longer period of time before accepting (e.g. newspaper articles about the conviction of the shooter). Not every event in which a school is shot at gets an article. Chess (talk) (please mention me on reply) 23:50, 2 April 2024 (UTC)
The Orivesi school shooting was a attemped shooting of a secondary school in Orivesi, Finland.
At around 9:30 GMT+3 emergency services recived a call about a man being grazed in his hand by a bullet, at about 9:36 GMT+3, they recived calls of shots fire in the Orivesi secondary school hallway, the bullets were fired into a classroom door, not hitting any students.
There was no one severly injered when emegency services arived to the school. They aprehened the unknown subject and took him into custody.
