Omobayo Marvellous Godwin is the new Deputy Governor of Edo State.
Godwin hails from Ibillo, Akoko-Edo Local Government Area of Edo State.
He bagged his first degree in Electrical and electronics engineering from the University of Benin, and also proceeded to obtain a Masters in Public Administration.
He was nominated by the Governor to the House of Assembly after former deputy Governor Philip Shaibu was impeached. According to Naijabiobase, Philip Shaibu was reported to have leaked Government classified documents.
