- Comment: Fails WP:GNG, requires significant coverage in multiple independent secondary sources. Openstreetmap is not an acceptable source (for establishing a road's notability), and Weekend Notes is not a reliable source. The Monarto Safari Park is trivia not a noteworthy fact. The Old Princes Highway is a former stretch of Highway 1, starting at Eagle On The Hill, where it is referred to as Mount Barker Road, and terminating at Long Flat, near Murray Bridge.[1]
The initial highway section is not contiguous with the rest of the highway by car, as an old offramp between Eagle On The Hill and Crafers was converted into a segment of a dedicated bicycle path known as the Crafers Bikeway some time around May 2000[2].

The highway then resumes at Stirling, where it continues as Mount Barker Road towards the town Mount Barker. From Littlehampton, the road is referred to as the Old Princes Highway.
History
editThe highway was fully paved in 1936, extending from Adelaide to Murray Bridge.
In the 1960s, the South Eastern Freeway was constructed, significantly reducing traffic on the highway.
Trivia
edit- The highway was formerly home to the Monarto Safari Park entrance, however it was moved further north to Monarto Road in 2022.[4]
