Okotomu Community is located in warri south location government area of delta state, Nigeria.
The Okotomu people migrated from Igala and their founding father was IJENEKUN Alias Ibejekolokolo, they were first settled in Iyeye and later relocated to there present place long before the coming Ginuwa son called IJIJEN about 500 years ago.
The Name Itsekiri today was the name of one of Okotomu leader that IJIJEN meet in Okotomu which welcome him and established the kingdom know as warri kingdom today.
The Olu of warri is the Overlord ship of the Okotomu people till date.
Okotomu people are peace and loving people who respect there king and there god's.
Majority of the people Christian why others saved Okpotu Deity and other gods for protection and the well been of the community.
Hon. Lawyer. D.S.T.O Pessu is the Eldest man (Olaraja) and the Council of Elders Chairman, Mr. Lucky Ekpedure is the Community Executive Chairman, Mr. Issac Toritseju is the community youth Chairman.
Okotomu Community also Okotomu-Irigbo community, has a very interesting history that the general public we love to hear.
