Shaikh Obaid (Urdu:عبید اعظم اعظمی; Hindi: ओबैद आज़म आज़मी, born 6 February 1976) is an urdu poet. He is also know as Obaid Azam Azmi[1]

Early life and education

Obaid was born 6 February 1976 Sudanipur (Shudnipur), in Azamgarh district, Uttar Pradesh. to Shaikh Shamim Ahmed (MLA), Obaid azam did his schooling from Muhammad Haji Sabo Siddiqui High School (SSC) mumbai maharastra board from. After that he completed his Master Of Arts (MA) degree.[1][2]

Performance

Obaid was very fond of Poetry and Mushaira since childhood. He participated in many Mushairas during his studies. He participated in many Mushairas of India in which Miscellaneous Mushairas Jashne adab, Rekhta Mushaira, ETV Urdu, All India Mushaira’s.[3][4][5][6]And he collaborated with many great poets e.i Javed Akhtar, Shabina Adib, Quaiser Khalid and Anjum Lucknowi, Has performed his poems in Mushairas.[7][3][8][9]
