Nitro Type is an online typing game created and developed by Teaching.com.[1] Gameplay involves up to 5 players typing texts as quickly as possible on the in-game race track. Nitro Type was released on September 8, 2011.

The game received 3 out of 5 stars from Common Sense Education, who stated that the game gives players a "fun dimension to typing practice", but also states that the game's ads can be "intrusive."[2]
