Nitika Satya is an Indian professional and pageant contestant who achieved recognition as the 3rd runner-up in the Mrs. India Inc Season 4 pageant, earning the title of Mrs. India Galaxy 2023[1]
She will represent India at the international Mrs. Galaxy pageant in Orlando, Florida, organized by Galaxy International Pageants.
Early Life
editNitika Satya was born in Bihar, India. She stayed in Bihar until she was 16 years old. During her early years, Nitika describes herself as secluded and shy in her early days as Bihar did not have a history of glamour. Despite this, she was interested in fashion from a very young age. Nitika and her sister used to use their mother's dupatta to practice ramp walks in their house. Her parents supported her dream and worked hard to help her fulfill it.[2][3]
Her father worked as the Additional Commissioner in the Sales Tax Department, and her mother was an Assistant Professor at Patna University. Nitika is the eldest of three siblings. After her marriage to Siddarth Kumar, her husband and in-laws continued to support her ambitions.
Education
editNitika's strong inclination towards academics took her to Delhi Public School, RK Puram, for high school education. She then pursued a Bachelor of Technology in Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering from Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology. Furthering her education, she completed a PGDM-C with a specialization in Media and Entertainment Marketing from MICA, Ahmedabad. During her time at MICA, she was the Head Project Manager of MICAMINDS, the research and consultancy wing of MICA.
Personal Life
editBorn as the eldest child to her parents, Nitika is very strongly connected with her family. She got married to Siddarth Kumar in November 2021. Her husband and her in laws have been supportive during her preparation journey for Mrs. India Inc, which spanned over around six months. There were training sessions for personality grooming, make-up and hairstyle, ramp walk, smile, skincare, and fitness organized for all semi-finalists by Mrs. India Inc. She also reached out to her community and inspired them to make their contribution towards Udaan Charitable Trust.
Nitika's journey has inspired women to pursue their interests even after being successful corporate workers. Her efforts towards the upliftment of underprivileged sections of society were recognized, and she was nominated for the Mrs. Beyond Giving category. She got an opportunity to visit school kids in Sri Lanka along with Mrs. Globe People’s Choice 2023 and Mrs. Great Britain 2022 under this nomination. She also won the ‘Mrs. Charming’ title at Mrs. India Inc.
Modelling Career
editNitika started her journey in the glamour industry in 2018. In 2019, she won the title of Miss Corporate Universe. Her career in pageantry culminated in her crowning as the 3rd runner-up at the Mrs. India inc Season 4 pageant on July 19, 2023, in Sri Lanka. This achievement earned her the title of Mrs. India Galaxy 2023, and she went on to represent India at the Mrs. Galaxy pageant in Orlando, Florida.
Working as a full-time professional at one of the top OTT platforms in the country, Disney+ Hotstar, Nitika has managed to balance her professional and personal commitments. Her journey towards this crown has been an inspiration to many women who now feel more empowered to work towards their goals.
Professional Career
editNitika is currently working as an Engagement Manager in the Handsets & Consumer Durables vertical at Disney+ Hotstar, previously having worked in the Online & Travel vertical. She focuses on maximizing advertising revenue growth for clients in various industries, including handsets, consumer durables, e-commerce, and travel. Nitika is responsible for managing and growing strategic relationships with key accounts, ensuring successful deals and partnerships.
Before joining Disney+ Hotstar, Nitika worked as an Associate Marketing Manager at Amazon, where she handled online marketing for the Home Entertainment category, which included televisions, projectors, and set-top boxes. She was instrumental in driving traffic and ensuring a seamless customer journey for various TV launches from brands like Mi, Samsung, and Sony.
Nitika's professional experience spans approximately seven years, with roles including a Business Technology Analyst at Deloitte US India and an Associate Marketing Manager at Amazon. At Deloitte, she gained hands-on experience in Enterprise Resource Planning using PeopleSoft, SQL, PeopleQuery, and Application Engine.
