Mitwa (Transl.: Lover) is an 1966 Indian Bhojpuri-language film directed by Govind Moonis and co-produced by Jagmohan Mattu and Bhagwan Sinha.[1]

editActor Bhagwan Sinha, who had acted in the first Bhojpuri film Ganga Maiyya Tohe Piyari Chadhaibo, wanted to make a Bhojpuri film. When he found a financer Jagmohan Mattu; he went to Govind Moonis. Then they decided to make the film who procuders were Jagmohan Mattu and Bhagwan Sinha.[1]
Casting

editMost of the film shot at Filmistan studio and few scenes were shot in Kandarpada, a settlement in Mumbai. Some sequences were also shot in Patna. The film completed in almost 5 months and costed 3.5 Lakh.[1]
