Misafir Geldim is the fifth studio album by Turkish folk music singer Güler Duman, released on March 23, 1987. The album was released with Duygu Music label. The recordings of the album started in October 1986. Three months of recordings were completed in January 1987. The album featured the works of artists such as Karacaoğlan, Âşık Dertli, Davut Sulari, Muhlis Akarsu, Mahzuni Şerif, Atakan Çelik and Kemal Can.
Between 1980 and 1985, he released four solo albums with Özlem Plak label. In 1986, after leaving the Faculty of Dentistry, he signed with Duygu Music, founded by Sinan Çelik in the same year. He recorded twenty tracks for the album, which he started recording at the end of the year. He composed the music for the songs "Misafir Geldim" and "Sevda" and worked with a large team for the album. Tracks such as "Misafir Geldim", "Gezdim Dolaştım", "Kalk Gidelim", "Ölüm Arkam Sıra", "Üç Beş Aşık" and "Sendemi Dost" were the standout tracks of the album. Also with this album, Güler Duman started to be a guest on television programs.
Recording and publishing
editGüler Duman released four solo albums between 1980 and 1985 with Özlem Plak label.[1] In 1986, she signed with Duygu Music and started recording her fifth studio album. Working with a large team, the album took about three months to record. The album was recorded at Studio PAN and was directed by İsmail Derker and Sinan Çelik. Güler Duman's father Fevzi Duman was the supervisor. İhsan Apça and Fazıl Atuk were the tonmaist for the album, and Ali Osman Erbaşı, Erol Parlak, Güray Hafiftaş, Yusuf Sorgun, Çetin Akdeniz and İsmail Derker took part on the bagpipes. Vahit Uç on bendir, İskender Küserman on conga and def, Sinan Çelik on kaval, Özkan Turgay on keyboard, Deniz Selman on ney, Ersin Baykal on violin and Binali Selman on zurna.
The album, which was produced by Duygu Music Center, was compiled by artists such as Erkan Sürmen, Metin Karataş, İsmail Özden and İsmail Derker in addition to Güler Duman. Twenty tracks were recorded and the album received positive reactions when it was released. With the album, which managed to enter the charts, Güler Duman's career began to rise and she participated in joint projects with many artists. The album was photographed at Studio Celal. NORA (Devrim Yaman) did the graphics.[2]

- The album contains twenty tracks in total. The tracks "Kalk Gidelim", "Sarı Saçlım", "Bülbül Harın Kalmaya" and "Sendemi Dost" were not included in the version released on digital platforms in 2010s. The tracks "Karanfil Esti", "Yağma Yağmur" and "Mezirede Kuyu Var" were released as potpourri.
