Draft:Mirsadra Molaei

Mirsadra Molaei (Iran, September 1993) is known for his work in different areas.[1].

Early Life and Education edit

Mirsadra's background is not well known. He studied architecture in Iran at Tabari Institute of Higher Education in Babol[2]. Later, he switched to pharmaceutical sciences. In 2017, he went to Budapest and took a one-year pre-medical course at Avicenna International College[3]. He then began studying pharmaceutical science at Semmelweis University in 2018. Mirsadra's research skills were recognized in 2022 when he won first prize at the Semmelweis Tudományos Diákköri (TDK) Scientific Conference[4]. He graduated with magna cum laude from SOTE in 2023.

Research Area edit

  • Drug Discovery: Involves identifying new medicinal compounds through diverse approaches, including medicinal chemistry — the design of novel drugs — and structural biology, which examines molecules' three-dimensional structures to understand how they function and interact with other molecules.
  • Biochemistry and Biophysics Techniques: Encompasses the application of advanced tools such as nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR), mass spectrometry (MS), and cryogenic electron microscopy (Cryo-EM).

Honors and Awards edit

  • 2024: Award, Bridged Bicyclic Molecule NMR Challenge – Analytical & Bioanalytical Chemistry, Springer Nature[5].
  • 2023: Honor, The National Scientific Students’ Associations Conference (OTDK) – Hungarian Academy of Sciences.
  • 2023: Dean’s List – Semmelweis University.
  • 2022: Award, Scientific Students’ Association Conference (TDK) – Semmelweis University.

Publications edit

  • Species-specific acid-base characterization of carnosine and homocarnosine using nuclear magnetic resonance[6].
  • A rare case of COVID-19 vaccine-induced myopericarditis in a young adult[7].

Hobbies edit

Mirsadra is also known for his photography as a hobby, with his work being featured in magazines and articles worldwide. Some of his photographs have been used in publications such as "Today in Austria" by The Local[8], Expat Network[9], and on Medium[10]. One of his photographs was recognized as an editorial choice on Unsplash[11]. Additionally, Mirsadra enjoys coding in various languages as a hobby[12]
