EARLY LIFE AND OCCUPATIONS
editBorn December 28th, 2001, Matthew Joseph Ali is a Deputy Jailer at the Daviess County Detention Center as of September 5th, 2023. And a Specialist in the Kentucky Army National Guard as of February 22nd, 2019.
EARLY LIFE
editBeing born to Angel Renee Chiu and Antonio Jose Ali in 2001, Matthew Ali lived with them until late of 2002. He was then took in by his grandmother Vickie Lynn Husk(Morris) and step grandfather Alfred Gene Husk. Matthew attended Eastview Elementary school growing up and Daviess County Middle school and Daviess County High school. At the age of 12, on September 1st of 2014, Alfred Husk 73 of Maceo Kentucky passed away from stage 4 pancreatic cancer at his home surrounded by family and wife of ALMOST 20 Years Vickie Husk. Matthew never saw much of his birth parents after 2002, Angel Chiu Zuniga and Antonio Ali were in and out of jail most of his life. Matthews junior year of high school he enlisted as a PV2 in the Kentucky Army National Guard in February of 2019 as a 12N (Horizontal Construction Engineer). Along with his brother Logan Scott Ali, Earning Matthew a promotion with his brother enlisting. Upon completing basic combat training at Fort Sill Oklahoma Matthew went back and finished out his senior year of high school. Upon graduating High school in may of 2020, He went to Advanced Individual training in the summer of 2020 at Fort Jackson Mississippi. Upon graduating AIT, He was then Stationed at Greenville KY with the 130th Engineer support company. Matthew is currently a Specialist (E-4). In January of 2021 SPC Matthew Ali was activated to Washington DC in response to the Capital Insurrection attempt on January 6th of 2021. He was there until March of 2021 earning a presidental award for valor.(Operation Capital Responce) Upon coming home he worked weekdays at Raising Canes Chicken Fingers while serving at drill With the National Guard on the weekends. In September of 2021 Matthew Ali moved to Burlington Kentucky as a result of a relationship. Even tho the relationship ended a few months after Matthew Moved to Burlington, He continued to live there until September of 2023. Working at the Raising Canes in Florence KY, and also Part time at Amazon warehouse. In September of 2023, Matthew moved back to Maceo Kentucky in order to take care of his Ailing Grandmother Vickie Husk. In October Ms.Vickie Husk was diagnosed with complete Liver failure and kidney failure. on October 15th, 2023 (The day after Matthew Ali was sworn in as a deputy officer at Daviess County Detention Center) Vickie Husk was put on Hospice Care of Kentucky at her home in Maceo KY.On November 6th, 2023 at 11pm Matthew came home from work at DCDC, to find His rightful mother Vickie Husk, deceased. He continues to serve in the Army National Guard and as a Deputy Jailer at DCDC in Owensboro KY.
