Marvin Pierschbacher is a gemstone expert and television host at the Gem Shopping Network (GSN), where he has worked since 2008, following a previous tenure from 1999 to 2005. Born in northeastern Brazil[1](June 28, 1978), Marvin developed a passion for gemstones early, exploring local mines and learning the trade. He holds several certifications from the Gemological Institute of America (GIA), including: Diamonds (1996); Diamond Grading (1996); Gem Identification (1996); Colored Stone Grading (1996); Colored Stones (1997).
With over two decades of industry experience, Marvin has worked in both retail and wholesale sectors. In 2005, he co-founded America’s Value Channel (AVC), serving as Vice President of Product Development. He returned to GSN, gaining recognition for his extensive knowledge of jewelry and gemstones, as well as his ability to educate audiences on their unique characteristics and history.
