Mark Manduca (born March 3, 1983) is a British investment professional currently serving as the Chief Investment Officer of Jacobs Private Equity.[1][2][3]

Early life and education edit

Manduca was born in London and educated at Eton College.[4] He holds a master’s degree in modern languages from the University of Edinburgh in Scotland.[4][5] He is the son of Dr. Ursula Manduca[6] and Paul Manduca. His mother, Dr. Ursula Manduca is an ophthalmologist while his father, Paul Manduca, served as the founding CEO of Threadneedle (now Columbia Threadneedle) in 1994.[7] Manduca’s family descends from Maltese nobility, with his full surname being Falzon Sant Manduca.[8]

Manduca served as a Managing Director in the equity research division of Bank of America Merrill Lynch (BAML) from 2010 to 2018.[9][10]

In 2018, he joined Citigroup as a Managing Director & Associate Director of Equity Research, where he worked until 2021.[11][9][12][13]

From 2021 to 2023, Manduca served as the Chief Investment Officer at GXO Logistics.[11][4][14][15]

Since September 2023, he has been serving as the Chief Investment Officer at Jacobs Private Equity LLC, based in Greenwich, Connecticut.

Recognition edit

Manduca was the top ranked analyst on Wall Street for a decade (2012 to 2021), as recognized by Institutional Investor.[11][16][4]

He received recognition in financial media for his views on balance sheet risks in the global airline sector during the 2020 pandemic.[17][12][18][19][13]

Mark Manduca is married to Alexandra Manduca, and the couple resides in Greenwich, Connecticut.[20]
