Mariglen Disha was born on June 25, 1980 in the village of Dranovice in Librazhd. After completing secondary education, he was graduated at the Faculty of Civil Engineering, at the Polytechnic University of Tirana, in the field of Civil Engineering, Transport Infrastructure Profile.
Career
editIn the year 2004, he began practicing his profession as an implementer of engineering projects, as well as continuing to practice his profession in various state institutions.
For years, Mariglen Disha has managed some of the most difficult sectors with problems carried over the years, such as Urban Legalization. He has successfully directed the Directorates of the State Cadastre Agency, such as the Local Directorate of ASHK Korça, Elbasan and Tirana. Thanks to his hard work and maximum dedication, as well as proper management, he managed to successfully finalize an infinite number of applications and files pending for many years.
On the local elections of May 14, 2023, Mr. Disha is proposed as a candidate of the Socialist Party, where he wins the local elections for the Municipality Mayor with a very large difference of votes against the opposition coalition.
Since June 2023, he has led the Librazhd Municipality, giving his valuable contribution to the development of the city and beyond. The appropriate policies followed by him for the development of the area greatly eased the lives of the residents by creating new infrastructure, building schools and health centers, water supply. Mayor Mariglen Disha has given special attention to the development of tourism in the area of Librazhd, where with his support, guesthouses have been built and continue to be built in different areas of Librazhd, mainly in the Shebenik National Park area. As a result, today Librazhdi is visited by countless local and foreign tourists who enjoy the area's attractions, varied cuisine and panoramic views. Another special element of Mr. Disha is the unsparing support and help that the Mayor Mariglen Disha himself gives to the needy, creating opportunities to lighten the life for these population strata.
Among the concrete objectives that Mayor Mariglen Disha has is the return of residents who have abandoned the areas, now with a new infrastructure, and with his support these residents invest in their areas by developing even more mountain tourism, a strong point this for the area of Librazhd.
