Màiri NicGumaraid is a Gaelic poet.[1] She was born in Airidh a'Bruaich in the Lake District on the island of Lewis in 1955. She is the youngest of three children.
Early Life
editMàiri started her Primary School in village of Balallan, before her secondary school in Stornoway. However, Màiri began writing when she was a student in university Scottish Gaelic Studies,
