Lorenzo Ferrari (born in 1999 in Milan) is an Italian content creator, speaker, and entrepreneur, founder and CEO of smarTalks. He is known for his rapid rise in the world of marketing and digital communication through the use of social media, particularly LinkedIn, where he is now one of the most followed professionals in Italy.

Early Life and Education

Lorenzo Ferrari was born in 1999 in Segrate, in the province of Milan, and during his childhood, he lived in San Donato Milanese.

During middle school, he developed a strong curiosity that led him to explore various fields, ranging from creativity on social media to rap music and fashion. Eventually, he decided to focus on creating humorous content on Facebook and later on YouTube.

After completing his school education, he attended the Enrico Mattei Technical Institute of Computer Science, where he graduated with a diploma in computer science in 2018. He then pursued a university career, enrolling in the Public Relations & Corporate Communication program at IULM University in Milan, from which he graduated in 2021.

Career

Lorenzo's professional journey began in 2019 when a university professor, impressed by his daily content creation on LinkedIn, offered him a position at his communication agency in Milan.

There, Lorenzo worked on social media and content writing for several months.

The Beginnings (2020)

A year later, in 2020, during the Covid-19 pandemic, Lorenzo decided to launch a project called Clever Adv to share his passion for the advertising world. The following month, he co-founded another project called smarTalks with a friend and high school classmate, aiming to share his passion for marketing and digital communication.

Both projects quickly grew and became key references in the industry, attracting thousands of followers on social media. At the same time, Lorenzo became one of the top 25 most followed people on LinkedIn in Italy.

Growth (2021)

In September 2021, after graduating, he participated as a speaker at a TEDx event, discussing the importance of balance in achieving life and professional goals, making him one of the youngest TED speakers in Italy.

Subsequently, he joined the scientific committee of a master's program in Digital Marketing, also taking on the role of lecturer. He then seized a job opportunity in Social Media with Gruppo Tempocasa, a leading real estate holding company.

At the end of 2021, he signed a contract with a publishing house to publish a book. However, due to personal circumstances, he interrupted the project, which he resumed two years later with Solferino, the publishing house of Corriere Della Sera.

Start of the Entrepreneurial Career (2022)

After working for several years in the communication and marketing sector, in April 2022, Lorenzo decided to formalize one of his first projects, smarTalks, by transforming it into a limited liability company (Srl) with share capital fully contributed by him and his first partner, Sara, thus beginning his entrepreneurial career.

Simultaneously, he began his career as a speaker at national industry events and beyond, appearing on prestigious stages and collaborating with companies from various sectors.

Today, Lorenzo is the Sole Shareholder and CEO of smarTalks S.r.l. Besides managing the company, he dedicates himself to various side projects, such as participating in events as a speaker or collaborating with non-profit cultural organizations.
