Liam Millward
editLiam Millward is a young Australian businessperson and entrepreneur. He is best known as the Chief Executive Officer and Co-Founder of Instant, a technology company working with some of the worlds largest ecommerce brands to increase their online conversion and revenue.
Liam started his first business venture at 13 years old in a caravan, whilst travelling around Australia and the world with his family. They blogged their journey on social media and grew a large following, before the family ended their travels. Liam then created and developed well-known travel magazine, Navigate Australia which grew to be read by over 50,000+ people monthly, within 12 months of launching. Liam finished high-school at 16, and went to university and studied business, communications and marketing at 17 in Brisbane, Australia.
Liam Millward is the Co-Founder and CEO of Instant; an Australian headquartered technology company on a mission to power the worlds most innovative brands, driving their revenue and retention on autopilot. After founding Instant alongside his Co-Founder William Gao, the company raised over $7.5m in venture capital whilst Liam was 17. This is Australia’s largest pre-seed funding round ever known to date, led by Blackbird Ventures (Australia’s largest and most successful venture capital firm). Instant then went onto over deliver growth expectations, achieving $3 million in annualised revenue just 18 months after launching. Today the company has over 2 million shoppers who had used their products. The Australian Securities and Investments Commission (ASIC) records show that Liam’s mum, Ann Millward, was a director of the company for an interim period of time whilst Liam was a minor.
