Denver-based LOG. blends theatrical, feverish post-punk, funk and industrial percussion into a unique form of avant-garde rock music. Warped comedic logic intertwines with propulsive, industrial grooves, frenetically catchy bass lines and left of center pop hooks. Frying pans, palm sanders, sheet metal, bullhorns and a shower of grinder sparks dance alongside an electric 2 x 4, prehistoric and aquatic squeals, snaking guitar leads and a backbeat you can bend steel on.

Founding members Harry Lug Nutz (bass/vocals/spiritual advisor) and Dr. Bug (percussion/calisthenics) formed LOG after meeting in the freezer aisle of a nameless supermarket. After Lug Nutz’s failed romance with a package of pot pies, they started collaborating on music that forever changed the world, sometimes for the better.

The duo, accompanied by Jimmy the Grinder (industrial percussion/trumpet/bullhorn/palm sander/grinder) and Baron Von Schnitzelhosen (guitar/breakfast burrito/IT department), tirelessly perfected the follow-up to 2004’s High on the Hog with one goal in mind: destroying the psyche of each and every listener and rebuilding it from scratch to serve the band’s deviant interests. Most listeners agree that the mission was accomplished, if they are still able to speak.

In 2004, LOG released its first album High on the Hog.

In 2024, LOG released its second album Dump Truck Sayonara.
