Submission declined on 26 November 2023 by Timtrent (talk). This submission's references do not show that the subject qualifies for a Wikipedia article—that is, they do not show significant coverage (not just passing mentions) about the subject in published, reliable, secondary sources that are independent of the subject (see the guidelines on the notability of people). Before any resubmission, additional references meeting these criteria should be added (see technical help and learn about mistakes to avoid when addressing this issue). If no additional references exist, the subject is not suitable for Wikipedia.

Ken J. Davis (-1991) [1] founded Ken Davis Products, Inc. in 1972, a company that produced a homemade BBQ sauce based on a recipe from his grandmother. The company continued to grow until his death from lung cancer in 1991. His wife, Barbara Jo Taylor Davis[2][3][4], 20-year marketing and home economist veteran at General Mills, was named President in 1988 and ran the company until it was sold in 2010, ultimately acquired by General Mills in 2014.
His life and partnership with his wife is a key story element of the play I Am Betty,[5][6][7] a play at the History Theater in Saint Paul, Minnesota, USA.
