Kamen Rider Gavv (仮面ライダーガヴ, Kamen Raidā Gavu) is a Japanese tokusatsu television series, the 35th entry of Toei Company's Kamen Rider metaseries, and the sixth series to debut during the Reiwa period. The series debuted on September 1, 2024, joining Bakuage Sentai Boonboomger and later, No.1 Sentai Gozyuger in the Super Hero Time lineup after the finale of Kamen Rider Gotchard.[1] It also marks the debut of a snack motif including candies, sweets, and chocolates.

Plot
editShoma Stomach, a human-Granute hybrid and child of the Stomach Family, a powerful family of the Granute World, flees the Granute World and becomes stranded on Earth after his mother was slain. There, he discovers that when he consumes snacks, he creates Gochizo, small creatures which he can use to transform into Kamen Rider Gavv. As Gavv, Shoma fights against the rest of the Stomach Family, who killed his human mother and is kidnapping humans for their happiness to transform them into Dark Sweets, which she warned him to never eat, renouncing the Stomach name and adopting her surname, Inoue. He is aided by Sachika Amane, CEO of the jack-of-all-trades shop Hapipare, who takes him in, and Hanto Karakida, a freelance writer investigating Shoma and the Granute who can becomes Kamen Rider Valen using a weapon developed by the researcher Kenzo Suga that can also tap the power of Shoma's Gochizo.

editThe Kamen Rider Gavv trademark was registered by Toei Company on April 27, 2024, and published on May 10, 2024.[2]
Gavv was officially announced on July 1, 2024.[1]
The opening theme song "Got Boost?" is performed by dance and vocal group Fantastics from Exile Tribe.[3]

Nyelv is also directly responsible for Hanto's path into a Kamen Rider, as he was the one who sent a Granute to kill Shioya, and steals Shioya's lower half of his Hito Press state to him before Hanto finds Shioya's upper half. | |||||

Shoma once again giving a birth of another new Gochizo. Shortly, both Hanto and Shoma discovered the true identity of a Granute who kidnapped children happens to be a cake shop owner, who has ability to turn a building complex he took over into a shell to assume full hermit crab-like form while carrying the said hostages. After freeing the children, Valen only reveals Gavv a little detail on how he became a Rider without slipping his secret identity to him, and also apologize for his creator's cause on kidnapping one of the Chocodan Gochizos to create his Rider power. Nevertheless, Gavv gives Valen amount of Chocodan Gochizos, believing that Valen is a Granute who did not have an ability to produce Gochizos like he was. Suddenly, Hanto is being suspected for a romance scam, and decides to seek both Sachika and Shoma. As a scammer has a similar face as him, Hanto pretends to date with a woman who became the latest victim of the scam, in order to find the culprit who framed him. Around the same time, Lango decides to briefly visit Shoma before initiating the attack on Kamen Riders. |
