Kalimbatones
Kalimbatones is a music producer from Bloomington, Indiana, recognized for his interesting colorful sound, his versatile style on beats in the music production industry. He began his journey in 2021 and has since made significant contributions to the field. Early Career Kalimbatones began producing music in 2021 using GarageBand. He quickly became proficient and very skilled, reaching a level comparable to industry producers. By September or August 2022, he switched to FL Studio, one of the most used DAW in music industry by many industry-top producers, which was a big point through his career. Breakthrough and Innovations In July 2023, Kalimbatones met in person Ross Constable (@ross_constable), a meeting that greatly influenced his career. Constable recognized Kalimbatones' creativity, passion, and work ethic, encouraging him to aim high. During this time, Kalimbatones was working on "Prismatica," with foreverfridayy, mixing two different styles of genres, on his side he experimented with innovative drum and bass (DNB) breaks. Inspired by this project, he devised the concept of producing weekly 808 weeklies. One notable creative session saw Kalimbatones produce around 150 unique drum breaks in a single session, all distinct and very diffrent from existing drum kits. This experience led him to set an ambitious goal: creating 1000 808s by making 40 each week. He is now nearing this target and plans to release the collection of 808s weeklies a year after its conception. Collaboration and Community Kalimbatones possesses a unique ability to collaborate with other producers, including beats, drumkits or on a sounddesign. His persuasive skills and genuine passion for music have helped him gain the trust of these producers, leading to successful week-long collaborations on his 808 projects. Despite his recent entry into the music scene, his collaborative efforts have amplified his impact and reach within the industry. Future Plans With nearly 1000 unique 808 beats created, Kalimbatones is poised to release this extensive collection. His innovative approach and relentless work ethic continue to drive his success, positioning him as a rising star in music production.
