Kal Glanznig (born 2000) is a leading Australian youth environmental advocate from Cronulla, New South Wales, who at the age of 17, fundraised $100,000 to get solar panels installed at his high school Caringbah High.[1][2]. He co-founded Plastic Free Cronulla, promotes sustainability as an ambassador for Take 3 For The Sea, and has represented Australian youth at the UN Climate Change Conferences (COP27 and COP28)​ [3][4]​. He also plays water polo for the Cronulla Sharks Water Polo Club​[5].

Kal created the documentary "Rising Up" to highlight solutions to climate change and plastic pollution which premiered at the Ocean Lovers Festival in 2024​[6]
