Just a Drop is a not-for-profit organisation which provides global water, sanitation, and hygiene relief [1]. The organisation was founded in 1998 by Fiona Jeffery OBE, who at the time was the Managing Director of World Travel Market.
Just a Drop has worked in 32 countries, but currently is active in 6 countries: Uganda, Kenya, Zambia, Nicaragua, India, and Cambodia [2]. Due to the variation in the natural landscapes of the countries and regions that Just a Drop work in, they often employ very different solutions depending on the location. However, in terms of clean water provision they often use sand dams, boreholes, or biosand filters, to provide communities with safe water.
