Joe Du Bey is American entrepreneur and private equity professional, widely known as the founder and chairman of Eden Workplace, a company that provides workplace solutions.[1][2][3] He is also the co-founder and CEO of Mosaic Software Group.[4]
Early life and education edit
Du Bey attended Mercer Island High School in his early life. Later, he earned a BBA with distinction from the Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan. He then received his MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business.[5]
Career edit
Du Bey started his career by working as an investment banking analyst at Barclays Investment Bank in 2007.[6] Later, in 2009, he transitioned to working as a private equity associate at Lindsay Goldberg.[7] In 2011, he joined Patamar Capital, a venture capital firm in San Francisco, as a Vice President.
In 2015, Du Bey founded his company Alder FM, which provided facilities management software to various companies. Joe served as Alder FM's CEO until 2022 when it was sold to Alpine Investors. In 2015, he also co-founded Eden Workplace with his partner Kyle Wilkinson out of Y Combinator.[8][9] He served as its CEO until 2023 when he transitioned to the role of chairman.[10][11] In December of 2023, he co-founded Mosaic Software Group, a business software development company, and started serving as its CEO.[4]
Philanthropy and volunteer work edit
Joe held the positions of President and Board Member at Minds Matter, the largest volunteer-run educational non-profit in San Francisco.[12]
