Career
edit[Jim Olarte started his creative career as a reputable vintage clothing store in laguna beach called 'locals only' which became the goto place for sourcing high end and rare vintage clothing. Some of his clients included The Guggenheim, Levis Clothing, and more. After choosing to close locals only, Jim Olarte went on to work for numerous companies as set stylists and visual merchandizing. After a number of years Jim Olarte re discovered his early craft of Macrame while styling a set for Roxy. Combining his great mind for design and this skill for macrame he reinvented the process and increased the scale an immeasurable amount and created architectural macrame which would soon become his full time career. ][3]
