Not to be confused with other people named Jim Ellis including Jim Ellis (lobbyist), also a politician, of California
Jim Ellis (October 28, 1928 - April 10, 2017) was a politician in California. His wife Carol Bentley Ellis also served in government. He was a veteran.[1]
He was born in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He served in the Navy from 1940 to 1970,[2] including three tours in Vietnam. He served as an aviator in Vought F-8 Crusaders.[1]
