Jessica Courtney Jose, known professionally as Jessica Baio, is an American singer-songwriter.

Early life and education

Baio was raised in Sacramento, California. She blew up after a YouTube video of her covering Miley Cyrus's "Wrecking Ball" went viral. She was inspired by artists like Taylor Swift, Justin Bieber, Demi Lovato, Miley Cyrus and Ariana Grande and wanted to make music like them. She got married at 18 and ran a YouTube channel with her husband called "Sam and Jess" where they did pranks, challenges and surprises.

Baio signed with 10k Projects in 2020 and released her first song on February 1, 2020 called World Record, followed by if i never, if i never, home, gone, Skin, at least and crossed the line.

Jessica began working on her debut EP catalyst, she released the lead single trust issues on September 30, 2022 which blew up on social media, it was followed by the single
