Josef (Jay) Doctora born 24th May 1997, is an international cricketer.[1] for the Philippines Cricket Team (Carabaos) who is a top order batting all-rounder (off spin). Jay was born in Cebu, Philippines and moved to New Zealand at the age of 3. He currently lives in New Zealand.
Jay was named in the Carabaos Squad for the 32nd South East Asian Games in Phnom Penh, Cambodia which took place in May 2023[2]. He made his debut for the Carabaos on 3rd May 2023 against Singapore. Taking 1 wicket in his 2 overs and scoring 4 runs[3]
Jay has been selected for the 15-man squad to represent the Carabaos in the East Asia Pacific T20 World Cup Qualifiers[4] which will take place at Port Moresby, Papua New Guinea in July 2023.
