Backstory: Jaelyn was born in a small town inside of Germany on a cold night in December 11th, raised by her Mother, Mavis Nachtnebel and Father, Austin Miller. She was raised inside a loving and caring home and loved dearly on both sides of her family. She was raised to learn German as her first language and picked English up by her father teaching her minimal English since he could care less about what language Jaelyn spoke.
After Jaelyn’s 4th birthday, Mavis was no longer seen around the house anymore, Jaelyn noticed the house looked emptier, her mothers presence was no longer felt around the house, Jaelyn tried to ask her father of her mothers whereabouts, but her Father, Austin, shut the conversation down without another word spoken. Two months after Mavis’s disappearance, Jaelyn’s father sent her to an orphanage with nothing but her favourite teddy bear and a backpack of her clothing, telling Jaelyn that this place is her home now, abandoning her at the orphanage with no other words exchanged.
The orphanage took poor care of Jaelyn, refusing to feed her 3 nutritious meals a day and had harsh, violent and questionable disciplinary actions towards her and the other children in the orphanage. Once Jaelyn turned 5, The orphanage was hit by a massive horde that tore through the building and killed nearly every child and staff member inside the orphanage, leaving Jaelyn in the ruins of what was once the home she had no choice to be a part of. Three weeks after the horde hit the Orphanage, a group of men came to the ruins of the orphanage and found Jaelyn amongst the ruins, After the men had a moment of discussing what to do with the child, they decided to take Jaelyn into their care and became her caretakers, Hunter, Kai, and Dimitri being their names.
The three of them treated Jaelyn more like family then her father ever did, Feeding her healthy and nutritious meals, teaching her English so she could understand and speak fluently in both German and English, and gave her her own bedroom with many toys and clothes so she did not go without anything important, making sure to make her feel like she has a safe home and family to grow up with. Jaelyn still has not found out what had happened to her mother, Hunter, Kai, and Dimitri decided to keep what happened to her mother a secret until she was older and able to take the information.
Mavis’s “Disappearance”: The night of Jaelyn’s 4th birthday, Austin found Mavis’s childhood photo album underneath their shared bed, and when he looked at the first picture of Mavis when she was Jay's age, it was a splitting image of Mavis. Which made Austin curious enough to dive deeper into the photo album, only to find notes and written logs of Mavis’s studies of making Jaelyn, a genetic clone of her, a copy of Mavis. Austin then began to realize that Jaelyn wasn't even related to him, Jaelyn isn't Austin's daughter. Since her mother reproduced Jaelyn asexually, no trace of Austin's DNA inside of Jaelyn. Which drove Austin into a spiral of rage and betrayal. Mavis soon found out that Austin has been cheating on her with another woman since the reveal of baby Jaelyn’s gender. Mavis confronting Austin about these events made him become blind in a flurry of rage of Mavis finding out, but Austin wasn't going to let Mavis confront him without telling him what he had found out about Jaelyn, yelling and screaming back and forth about the cheating, the baby that Austin realized wasn't his or even a baby at all, it was just a splitting image of Mavis. Austin soon had enough, dragging Mavis out of the house and into the back of the woods before driving a sledgehammer into her cranium to fracture her skull into five different pieces. Knowing what wrong Austin has done, He cut Mavis’s torso open and removed her internal organs and “stored them for safe keeping” in separate glass jars with labels indicating what organs they were and Mavis’s organs, hiding them in Mavis's and his shared closet in the far back, keeping the dark truth away from Jaelyn.
