Jason Russell Andrew Steele (born Februaury 7, 1985)[2] is an American animator, voice actor, filmmaker, and video game streamer best known as the creator of the YouTube channel FilmCow,[3] most famous for the viral animated shorts Charlie the Unicorn and Llamas With Hats.[4]
Career
editAfter losing most of his possessions and source of income during Hurricane Katrina, Steele created Charlie the Unicorn as a birthday present for his mother.[3] The animation was uploaded to Newgrounds on November 26 2005, and became a viral success. Since 2008, Steele has uploaded his videos to Youtube.
Since February 25, 2018, Steele has host a live stream titled Video Game Valley. The stream features games played on original hardware second through seventh generation gaming consoles.
Steele has produced two audio dramas: The Table and Titanic 2: This Time It's Fine.
