Jack Taylor (born 8 September 2005) is an English footballer who plays as a defender for Hornchurch on loan from National League club Sutton United.
Early life
editTaylor moved from South London to the Eastbourne area in 2021, attending Bexhill College, where he played for their football academy alongside studying for his A-Level examinations.[2]
Career
editTaylor joined Sutton United on a two-year scholarship deal in July 2022, moving from Eastbourne Borough.[2]
During the 2023–24 season, Taylor spent time on loan with Burgess Hill Town and Hornchurch,[3][4] signing a first professional contract in February 2024.[5] On 2 March 2024, he made his senior league debut as a first-half substitute in a 1–0 defeat to Tranmere Rovers.[6] On 26 March 2024, he returned to Isthmian Premier League leaders Hornchurch on loan until the end of the season.[7]
