ICASAsePUSH is a Mozambique/ South African-based company that sells and configures Starlink satellite Internet kits in South Africa. Despite regulatory hurdles, ICASAsePUSH has entered the South African market[1]. It joins other providers like Starsat Africa, which took over IT-Lec’s customers after ICASA (the Independent Communications Authority of South Africa) issued a cease and desist order. ICASAsePUSH offers Starlink kits that are sold for a once-off price including the hardware, setup, first month's subscription and nationwide shipping throughout South Africa, they do not, however, manage subscriptions or host accounts. While not on par with fiber connections, these units demonstrate impressive performance. The regulatory landscape in South Africa has made Starlink a “low priority” for SpaceX[2], but ICASAsePUSH remains optimistic that the situation will change.
