Harry Bruce (8 July 1934) is a Canadian writer and journalist. He attended Mount Allison University, receiving a B.A. in English Literature. He also attended the London School of Economics and Massey College at the University of Toronto. He has written over a dozen books[1], and has published columns in every major contemporary newspaper and magazine in Canada[2].

He is a recipient of four Atlantic Journalism Awards, two National Magazine Awards, one Association of Canadian Television and Radio Artists Award, and the 2013 Atlantic Journalism Lifetime Achievement Award[3].

Personal Life

Harry was born in Toronto to journalist, writer, and poet Charles Tory Bruce and Agnes King. He married Penny Anne Meadows in 1955, they have 3 children[4].
