Gregory Kerr is an American YouTuber and author.[1] Under the pseudonym "Blue", he is a co-host of the YouTube channel Overly Sarcastic Productions, which has over one million subscribers and whose videos regularly accrue tens of thousands of views.[2][3][4]
Education
editKerr attended the Boston University College of Arts and Sciences, where he graduated magna cum laude with majors in classics and philosophy[5] and minors in economics and Core interdisciplinary studies in 2018.[6][4] During the 2016/2017 school year, Kerr was awarded the Alice M. Brennan Humanities Award in classical studies,[7] also winning the Divisional Distinction Award for Second-Year Humanities in 2016 and the Polytropos Award in 2018.[6]

editKerr began his YouTube career in March of 2015 under the pseudonym "Ares" as a host of the YouTube channel Animus Island, which was an Assassins' Creed podcast.[8][9] Four days after this, Kerr joined the channel for which he would become more widely known, Overly Sarcastic Productions, by creating a video entitled "History Summarized: The Athenian Empire" which, as the name may suggest, summarized the history of the Athenian Empire.[10]
Since Kerr's arrival to Overly Sarcastic Productions, he has continued to create popular history-focused videos for the channel.[4]
