Goh Hood Kiat

Goh Hood Kiat (1892 — 20 December 1983) was a Chinese businessman and member of the Municipal Commission of Singapore.

Early life edit

Goh was the brother of Methodist minister Goh Hood Keng.[1]

Career edit

He founded G.H. Kiat and Company in 1918 and served as its managing director. In 1924, he served as the president of the Anglo-Chinese School Old Boys' Association.[1] Cinematograph Exhibitors' Association of Singapore in 1947.[2]

He was the uncle of Goh Keng Swee.[1]
