Globsyn Business School (GBS) is a business school in Kolkata, West Bengal, India. It was established in 2002 by Bikram Dasgupta.

The Business School offers 2-year full-time Post Graduate Diploma in Management and Post Graduate Diploma in Management - Business Analytics.

History

The Globsyn Business School was established in 2002. The school is operated by the Dasgupta Family and guided by the Legacy Team.[citation needed]

Courses

Globsyn Business School offers three postgraduate management courses- two AICTE approved PGDM courses and one MBA (Global) course in association with the Malaysia University of Science and Technology.

PGDM

GBS's PGDM program includes specializations in finance, marketing, human resources, information systems, and operations management. To be qualified for this course, one must have a 50% or higher in 10th, 12th, and Graduation, as well as a minimum 50% cut-off in CAT/MAT/XAT.

PGDM-Business Analytics (BA)

The business school offers a 2-year full-time (AICTE-approved) PGDM-BA programme. The main focus of this programme is to make students ready to face the world of data. This postgraduate program teaches everything from collecting data to analyzing it and forming business decisions out of it.

MBA (Global)- International Business

The MBA (Global) course is created quintessentially for high flyers who are quick to make a career beyond national boundaries. This degree programme, offered in collaboration with Malaysia University of Science and Technology (MUST)[2], provides students with a real-world management education experience, with lessons taught by international faculty, offering young managers a bird's-eye view of the worldwide economic landscape.

Admission

Applicants of all postgraduate programmes are required to hold a graduation degree from a recognized college or university. Along with, for PGDM and PGDM-BA programmes, candidates are required to have 50% marks in graduation with at least 50% cut-off in one of these entrance exams XAT / ATMA / CAT/ CMAT].

For admission to MBA (Global) programme, one must have a valid score in exams like  CMAT, CAT, MAT, XAT, and ATMA.
