The Flag of Shizuoka Prefecture is the official flag of the Japanese prefecture of Shizuoka Prefecture in Japan. It was adopted on September 17, 1968, by Nozomi Kariyasu[1] The flag's adoption was approved by Notice No. 632. The emblem on the flag depicts Mt. Fuji inside on a blue field, representing the Pacific Ocean and the sky. The orange on the flag's emblem represents unity.

The flag of the Shizuoka Prefecture contains an emblem of Shizuoka Prefecture with Mt. Fuji due to Mt. Fuji being sandwiched between the borders of Yamanashi Prefecture and Shizuoka Prefecture.[2]

Sports Association flag

The Flag of the Shizuoka Prefecture Sports Association is the official flag for the Sports Association of Shizuoka Prefecture. The flag contains Kanji that says "静岡県" (transl. Shizuoka Prefecture). A white depiction of Mt. Fuji is on the flag's canton.
