Esmaeel Afifeh (born 1962) is an Iranian film and television producer. He has worked on projects such as Asphalt Jungle, Neighbors, Countdown, Fresh Air, Youth, The Meeting, and Forbidden Fruit.[1]
Biography
editEsmaeel Afifeh was born in 1962 in Tehran, but spent his childhood in city of Rasht and finished secondary education in the same city. Between 1985 and 1990, he studied cinema in the Faculty of Cinema and Theater at the University of Arts. During his studies, he worked as an assistant cameraman and cameraman in the production of several short and half-length films. He also took photographs in two movies: Arshieh directed by Kazem Balochi and Madrasah Rajaee directed by Karim Zargar. He started working with Iran TV in 1991. In 1992, Sheikh Mufid wrote the initial screenplay of the historical series with the cooperation of Mohammad Reza Mohammadi Niko. In 1993, he made his first work as a producer.
