Epilog is the debut studio album by Malaysian singer Liza Hanim. It was released on August 25, 1997, by Suria Records. The album's songs were recorded over nearly a three-month period, with Adnan Abu Hassan, Azmeer and LY, as well as others, handling the album's music production. Featured collaborator are 2by2.
Epilog draws stylistic influences off the music of Liza's artistic inspirations, including singers Fauziah Latiff and Aishah. Musically, Epilog is a pop and ballad record, while incorporating 1990s Malay ballad and acoustic element within its production. Saniboey of Harian Metro noted that, with the help of "Epilog", Liza was able to "re-create the vibe and feel of the '90s" with the album. It was acclaimed by critics upon release, with praise for Liza's vocals.
Epilog debuted atop the MY Billboard 10 chart, with over 100,000 units sold in its first five months. It made Liza one of the female artist who debuted at the top of the charts in the Malaysia with her debut album. The album was certified double platinum by the Recording Industry Association of Malaysia (RIM).
The album was preceded by the release of the lead single, "Getaran Cinta Dijiwa", on August 20, 1997. It became a top ten hit on the The Most Popular Malay Song chart, peaking at number two. The second single, "Siapa Sangka Siapa Menduga", was released on November 12, 1997, and peaked at number 6 on the Hot 10.
