Elisabetta Piccolotti (Camerino, february 10 1982) is an Italian politician, from 13 October 2022 member of the Italian Left Chamber in the Greens and Left Alliance group.
Biografia
editNata a Camerino (Macerata), ma cresce a Foligno (Perugia), frequenta il liceo classico e consegue la laurea triennale in comunicazione nella società della globalizzazione presso l'Università degli Studi Roma Tre. Fin da giovane è impegnata in politica nella sinistra e aderisce a Rifondazione Comunista. Nel settembre 2006 diventa portavoce nazionale dei Giovani Comunisti assieme a Federico Tomasello. Rimane in carica fino a inizio 2009, quando abbandona il partito per aderire al Movimento per la Sinistra di Nichi Vendola, che alcuni mesi più tardi dà vita a Sinistra Ecologia Libertà (SEL), di cui fa parte del coordinamento nazionale come Responsabile comunicazione.
