Edsel A, Galeos is a Filipino politician and is the current congressman for Cebu's 2nd congressional district.
Early life
editGaleos was born in Argao, Cebu on March 12, 1959, there, he got a degree in Engineering.[1]
Career
editGaleos worked in the Bureau of Forest Development, Cebu. He then was elected as the Mayor of Argao, before being elected as a board member for Cebu's 2nd District, as Independent.[2] He was re-elected as Board Member under PDP-Laban.[3] He ran as a congressman under PDP-Laban, against the other 2nd District board member, Tata Salvador,[4] eventually winning.[5] He is also the owner of EG and I Construction Corp.
He signed 89 bills in the House of Representatives of the Philippines,[5] including:
