The company was created in 2023 by Basileia Investment Holdings. [1] Basileia has significant investments in insurance companies around the world. Basileia Investment Holdings is a private enterprise with exclusive rights to the intellectual property of the South African King Price Insurance [2] brand for use outside of southern Africa. Basileia also holds the rights to operate in Europe as easySure and easyLife via easyGroup Limited and NEXT Forsikring in Denmark. The first easySure company was launched in Denmark, with plans to expand exponentially in Europe within five years.

easySure is an insurance intermediary covered in terms of risk by Eir Försäkring AB (Reg. no. 559166-0617), Stockholm, Sweden. Eir is a member of the Guarantee Fund in Denmark.
