Douglas D. Grant is known for his decades of nutrition research for the NBA and bodybuilding community. In recent years he has worked on helping the general public achieve their highest holistic health.

Doug’s wife Faylene drowned in their bathtub in 2001. The cause of death was originally declared accidental or suicidal. Later Doug was charged with murder, by detective and prosecutor, Juan Martinez.[1] Martinez was later disbarred for inappropriate conduct during murder trials. These charges against Doug were thrown out.
Doug was eventually found guilty of recklessness because he called a physician that lived nearby instead of 911 when he found his wife’s body. He was convicted of non-dangerous manslaughter.[2]

Douglas D. Grant was inducted [3] into the Professional Natural Bodybuilding Hall of Fame in 2022. This was honor was given due to decades of training, research, and coaching for bodybuilders to compete naturally without the use of steroids.
This patented work stops age-related muscle loss and helps build muscle as proven in a double-blind study, [4] leading to the development of his supplement Optimal Muscle Rx.
