Cullen Hussey is a 20 year old Actor/Writer/Director/Producer from Southampton, Pennsylvania.

Cullen went to Our Lady Of Good Counsel Grade School, where he performed in plays since 4th grade-8th grade.

For High School he enrolled at Archbishop Wood. Where he performed in their shows from 2018-2022.

During his time at Archbishop Wood he also double enrolled at Middle Bucks Institute of Technology (MBIT). MBIT is a specialty tech school separated into 3 years: 100, 200 and 300 level. In his first year at MBIT he was advanced enough to work with the 3rd year (300) students and was able to graduate MBIT in 2 years. Graduating from MBIT would normally take a student 3 years.

He was proficient enough to be chosen to compete in Skills USA in his first year, a competition often reserved for 300 level students. There he competed for audio and won first place in states. In his 200 year he was able to compete in Skills USA’s Digital Cinema competition where he won states and then went on to win second place nationally, losing by only .04 points. There he won the Best Writer and Best Actor award.

He has also gained multiple awards from film festivals. He was awarded the Outstanding Achievement in Acting Award at Bucks Fever Film Festival & The Best Acting Award from Greenfield.

When Cullen graduated High School he decided to skip college and go into the Film Industry.[1]

Early Life and Education edit

Cullen Hussey was born December 5th 2003 at Jefferson Abington Hospital Abington, PA. Son of Jennifer Hussey-Pate and Kevin Pate. Cullen was born of mixed race heritage, his father being of African American decent and his mother being of Irish decent.

Cullen Hussey went to Our Lady of Good Counsel for grade school from Pre K 3-8th grade. There, Cullen participated in shows since 4th grade and stayed in their shows all the way through 8th grade. Cullen would also attend Archbishop Wood Highschool in 2018. He would go on to participate in every show put on by the school's performing arts program as well as joined their choir. While going to high school he double enrolled at Middle Bucks Institute of Technology (MBIT). There he went for Multimedia Technology (MMT). While most students graduate in 3 years Cullen Graduated in 2. He didn't start attending MBIT until his junior year. There he would go onto compete in Skills USA, a national competition. While seniors were normally only considered for the competitions Cullen in his first year was chosen for their Audio Competition. There he won 1st place in States. His second and final year he was chosen to compete in Skills USA's Digital Cinema Competition. There he would win 1st place in states with his short film Respond. The film was made in less than 24 hours and with the help of his competition partner, Owen Qwimby. He would then go on to compete in "Nationals" where him and Owen would take home the 2nd place prize, losing by an accumulative average of .04 points. The film they had made was called Chronic, another short film made in a short timeframe and on their own. Cullen Would graduate from Archbishop Wood and MBIT in 2022.
