Counties 2 Hampshire is an English level 8 rugby union regional league for rugby clubs in Hampshire and is administered by Hampshire and West Sussex and is administered by Hampshire Rugby and the London & SE RFU.

Structure and format

The ten teams play home and away matches from September through to April, making a total of eighteen matches each. The results of the matches contribute points to the league as follows:

4 points are awarded for a win.
2 points are awarded for a draw.
0 points are awarded for a loss.

In addition:

1 losing (bonus) point is awarded to a team that loses a match by 7 points or fewer
1 additional (bonus) point is awarded to a team scoring 4 tries or more in a match

Promotion is to Counties 1 Hampshire which hosts teams from West Sussex & Hampshire; whilst ordinarily the last two placed clubs are relegated to Counties 3 Hampshire.

2024–25 Season

Teams for 2024–25

Departing were Sandown & Shanklin,Basingstoke and Guernsey St Jacques Vikings – an amateur club who are the 2XV to Guernsey Raiders promoted to Counties 1 Hampshire also Tottonians II were relegated to Counties 3 Hampshire. Promoted from were Havant III, Fareham Heathens and Isle Of Wight. Petersfield II were reintroduced for this season having previously played in this league for the 2018/19 season where they finished 7th.

With four leaving and four joining the league remained ten teams.
