They launched their first backend architecture in November 2019 and, shortly after, earned their first paying customer, Tergo Solutions. By 2020, Clue has gained considerable momentum, forming key partnerships with major heavy equipment manufacturers such as Doosan Infracore North America (DINA), John Deere, and others. Their platform evolved to support major telematics systems, including John Deere, Doosan, and Caterpillar.
In March 2020, Clue made its first major public appearance at ConExpo, one of the largest construction trade shows in the world.[2] This event became a turning point, where Clue garnered 150+ organizational sign-ups. Throughout 2020 and 2021, Clue continued to grow its customer base by refining its product offering, enabling users to track equipment, crew, and tools.
