Cerveza Pilsener is one of the main beers brands in Ecuador that is made by Cerveceria Nacional Ecuador. Know as "The Beer of Ecuadorians", It was created in Guayaquil, Ecuador in 1913.[1] It is a Pilsner style beer with a fine-bitter taste with a pronounced aroma. The beer pairs well with local ecuadorian cuisine such as crabs and soups. It is commonly occompanied with Encebollado as a Hangover cure[2]. Cerveza Pilsener comes in 2 versions; Cerveza Pilsener, and Cerveza Pilsener Light.
