Central Prison, Ballari is a central prison located in Ballari, Karnataka, India. It is one of the nine central prisons in Karnataka and was established in 1872. It is one of the two oldest jails in Karnataka after the Central Prison, Vijayapura, which was built earlier but turned into a prison in 1887. The inmates get visitors and mental health and counselling support.[1]
